SkipVoicemail ("we," "us") provides a 24/7 AI phone receptionist service for small businesses. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Call information. When you call our business line, or any phone line the service answers for one of our customers, the call is answered by an AI receptionist and is transcribed and may be recorded so the business can respond to your inquiry. Calls the receptionist places on a customer's behalf are handled the same way. Transcripts and audio are kept for that customer's account, are deleted when the account closes or on the customer's request, and are never sold or used to advertise to you.
Contact details you provide. Name, phone number, email address, business details, and any information you share during a call, text conversation, or sign-up form.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
Website analytics. Our website uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which sets cookies and reports page visits to Meta so we can measure our advertising. We also report standard events for viewing plans (ViewContent), tapping call or text (Lead), and starting Stripe checkout (InitiateCheckout). If you sign up, we may also report the purchase to Meta with your email and phone number in hashed (unreadable) form for ad measurement. You can limit ad tracking in your browser settings or at facebook.com/adpreferences.

How we use it

To respond to your calls and messages, capture appointment requests, and deliver the services you request.
To send text messages you have asked for or consented to receive (for example requested information, sign-up links, or service updates).
To set up and operate your AI receptionist service if you become a client.

Text messaging (SMS)

We send text messages only to people who opt in — either by verbally agreeing during a phone call they placed to us, by texting us first, or by tapping a website control that opens a text to us at (516) 530-8840 with the word START. Message frequency varies by conversation and is typically low. Message and data rates may apply.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use-case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with, or sold to, any third parties.

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at the address below.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers required to operate SkipVoicemail (for example our telephony, AI voice, hosting, and payment providers), and only as needed to deliver the service.

Retention and your choices

We keep records only as long as needed to operate the service and meet legal obligations. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information at any time by emailing billy@skipvoicemail.com — we will confirm your request and complete it within 30 days, except for records we are required to keep for legal, tax, or dispute-resolution purposes. Subscribers can also remove their uploaded contacts instantly, any time, by texting DELETE CONTACTS to their own receptionist number.
